Bill Caskey and I started our trip Wednesday, April 16, 2003 by staying the night
in the Ramada Plaza Hotel near the Atlanta Airport. With a 6 AM wakeup call, we
caught a free airport transport to Hartsfield Airport to catch nonstop Delta flight
749 which leaves Atlanta at 8:20 AM Eastern Time and arrives in Las Vegas at 9:47 AM
Pacific Time. (The return non-stop Delta flight 698 left at 11:00 AM PT and arrives in
Atlanta at 5:54 PM Eastern Time.) Once in Las Vegas, we caught transportation to the Sahara Las Vegas Hotel and Casino
where we will stay 4 days and 3 nights. At the resort, we were hungry so the first
mission was to eat. We decided to have our first meal in the Stratosphere Tower
on the north side of the strip. The Stratosphere is a Casino and Resort with a
tower which rises above the skyline and has a revolving restaurant, a lookout deck, a roller
coaster and a free fall ride. The meal lasted 90 minutes and we had completely circled the
entire city. We both had excellent steak and vegetables. Below are Photos taken from
the Top of the World Restaurant.

This trip to Las Vegas started out as a double bachelor trip for two guys: Preston
and Brad who are getting married in June and May. We passed around plans, and then
booked the flight. Two weeks before we were set to leave, the trip dates were
changed from April 17-20 to May 2-4. The reason for the change: the girlfriends found
out that the trip was schedule for Easter Weekend, and that was not cool. Bill and I
debated changing the trip, but his work travel schedule would not make the trip possible,
so we ventured out to Las Vegas on own.
