Day 8 (07/21/2001) Utah/Colorado Trip

After Spending the Night at Holiday Inn in Park City, Utah we headed westward along I-80, crossing the Wasatch Mountains to Salt Lake City. We toured downtown Salt Lake City (see Day 9 for pictures). We left downtown Salt Lake City then took a 20-minute drive west out I-80 to see the massive disparage called the Great Salt Lake. Upon immediate arrival we were swarmed by flies and an awful smell. They claim with 8x the oceans salt content you could float, but we did not get near the water and left after only a minute. We stayed the final night of our vacation at the Holiday Inn, Airport where we started our journey.
