Savannah, GA Waterfront at Night
Segment One (01/27/2006)

Welcome to another web tour. Today we drove the five hours from Atlanta to Savannah, Georgia. The reason for the trip is GhostStock 2006. For $35 we preregistered for this event thinking that we would be going along with research teams going into suspected haunted sites. Upon arrival it turned out we were actually responsible for the research and submitting the evidence in a report. What a true rip-off. This event was being used to gain attention to a new television show for release on a cable channel. After we found out what it was about, we did not attend any events.

Savannah, Georgia is a very unique city and is commonly called the ‘Most Haunted City’ in the United States. Founded in 1733 Savannah is Georgia’s oldest city and has many hints of its age with cobblestone streets near the waterfront and the 21 historic squares adds to the city’s elegance. Development is now renewing the downtown area and turning it into not only a port city, but also Georgia’s top tourist destination. In this tour, photos of the history waterfront will be taken both during the daytime and night, along with a trip to the Pirate’s House Restaurant for a brunch buffet and finally a trip to Okefenokee Swamp located about two hours away to the Southwest. Enjoy the ride!
