Mobile, AL Lunch Tours

The USS Alabama Battleship, Mobile Bay, AL:
Once walking around the grounds, I paid the entrance fee and boarded the USS Alabama. The photos on this Page and the Next Page were taken aboard the USS Alabama. While there were many areas closed off to visitors, most of the ship was visible. Be prepared for a workout climbing the ships ladders as this site has no elevators and those not physically fit, may be limited from the higher decks. One thing that was impressive was the large amount of open space and room in this ship. I am sure however when filled with personal, it did feel a little more cramped of a space when on missions. When you arrive at the park, just like most parks they give you paperwork, I however just went through the battleship exploring without looking at the paperwork (who wants to read while sight seeing!). I believe I saw everything, but you should really use the paperwork as it guides you through a step by step tour and tells you exactly what you are looking at.
