Chicago's Field Museum

Field Museum Website

Chicago’s Field Museum is quite a museum. It seemed like both skeletal and taxidermy models were made of every species of animal and were on display in this extremely immense museum. As you enter the three story museum, you are stopped in your tracks by the large dinosaur carcass displays filling the lobby. From there you maze through all the Mammals, Birds, Reptiles, and even Plant remains. This is a must see museum. It will definitely open your eyes at the large diversity of plants and animals that have shared Planet Earth with us. Special Exhibits I also toured included “The Seven Known Mass Extinctions”, “Ancient Americans” and an Egyptian Exhibit. This is not a Museum you will cover well in two hours. Make sure you are well rested and have just eaten as it will take you between four to five hours to fully explore this excellent museum. You will leave cranky and needing a nap, so be prepared. I rate the Field Museum as a MUST SEE and the BEST MUSEUM in Chicago.
