Chicago/Milwaukee Trip
(July 4 - July 7, 2008)


Standing at more than 1,450 feet tall and 110 stories tall, the Sears Tower is the tallest building in the United States and North America and while in Chicago, we climbed up the 103 stores to the Sears Skydeck. Boy did the elevator have to work. Sears Tower is Chicago’s most famous building and offers the city more than 3.8 million square feet of office and retail space. The picture to the right compares the height of the Sears Tower to other popular worldwide buildings. Here are my pictures from the top of the Sears Tower and on this clear day I probably could see the quoted 40-50 miles… While in Chicago you can also tour the top of the John Hancock Center, but we were short on time...
