Around Cheyenne, Wyoming
Paul J. Lossner
From the Buffalo Bill Museum, we bee lined it through Denver to I-25 North towards Cheyenne, Wyoming. Not many
pictures were taken, as there really was not much to take pictures of: lots of Prairie land. As you head north, you
loose site of the Mountains. Pictures of a couple of interesting things are below, and then are the Photos taken while
driving around Cheyenne, WY. We covered most of Cheyenne, not finding too much. I was surprised at how small
the city was at just 50,000 people, smaller than Marietta, Georgia. And yes, believe it or not, but it is the largest
city in Wyoming, which that along with being the state capital is the reason why it such a well know tiny city. We
stayed at the Plains Hotel in downtown. Drove around, Walked around and then when there is nothing else to do
hit the Baskin Robbins for Ice Cream. We definately did not fit in here and everyone knew we were not from around
these parts. This pretty town made for a relaxing end to this trip.
