Around Aspen, Colorado
Page 5: April 6, 2008

Aspen, Colorado is truly a beautiful place. I can see why it as world known for a skiing and living destination. However Aspen is more expensive and tailors itself to more seasoned skiers. For us to stop and ski in Vail was a wise choice, as the ski area below show no bunny slopes for the new skier like me. It appears to be a very small tight nit community as apposed to the more: pack them in tourist destination of Vail, CO. One weird question is why did the roads not get any snow on them, and why are the streams not even showing a hint of Ice? It was below freezing the entire time I was here and snowed a bit.
