AZ, UT, NM Road Trip
(Day Two: July 28,2007 - Page 6)

Cameron Trading Post: Cameron, AZ:

From Sunrise Volcano, we continued our track North on US-89 to the town of Cameron, AZ where we stayed at the Cameron Trading Post Hotel which contains a nice hotel, trading post style gift shop, gardens and a restaurant. This Hopi Native Indian Owned Hotel is located next to the Little Colorado Gorge which gives a small but stunning tease in what is to come from the Grand Canyon Park just 30 miles to the west in Highway 64. The entire hotel is decorated in Southwest Style with good cooking in the restaurant and an awesome sized gift shop. This is definitely a great place to stay and was reasonable with room prices around $100 a night.
