Day 2 (10/21/2004) 5th stop
Squaw Peak (North of Downtown Phoenix, AZ)

Once we arrived in Phoenix, my friends wanted to first find their previous home, and after a few memories, we proceeded to Squaw Peak. Squaw Peak is located in the Phoenix Mountains Preserve located just north of downtown. I was really impressed with this quiet park located in the downtown region, just off of Highway-51, which is the Interstate like highway shown in the photos below. We hiked to one of the many overlooks and paused for a few photos, and a couple of cellphone calls from "the top of Phoenix". Below are some of the many photos taken from inside this Mountain Preserve. Perfect weather conditions abound.
