Day 1 (10/20/2004) 2nd stop
Tombstone, Arizona

After the Airplane Graveyard, we went to secure the motel room and take a rest; all of us fell asleep on the bus tour at the Graveyard. Later we left Tucson, Arizona to embark on another but not so local attraction. We headed East on Interstate-10 until the town of Benson, where we caught Highway-80 and then headed South towards the tourist town of Tombstone, Arizona. The whole journey lasted about 80 miles each way and as you can see in the photos that night fell on our journey. This town truly puts one back into the Wild West days and is a good site to see. One note: the helicopter you see is with the Boarder Patrol which stopped us on our return journey back to the hotel in Tucson.
